About Andrea Witt, LLMSW
Andrea Witt, LLMSW, is a therapist with Midwest Behavioral Clinic serving clients in Fenton and Grand Blanc, Michigan. She works with teens, college students, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, stress, substance use concerns, and difficult life transitions.
Andrea believes reaching out for support is a meaningful step, and she understands that beginning therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming. Her goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and can move through therapy at a pace that feels right for them.
Andrea earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Spring Arbor University, where she developed a strong foundation in social work and a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges. Her approach is supportive, collaborative, and centered on each person's individual experiences, strengths, needs, and goals.
In her work with clients, Andrea uses trauma-informed care and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people better understand connections between their experiences, thoughts, feelings, and responses. She also incorporates approaches such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy when appropriate to the client's needs. Together, Andrea and her clients can identify patterns that may no longer be helpful, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change.
Andrea particularly enjoys supporting adolescents, college students, and adults who may be facing anxiety, depression, trauma, academic or career stress, substance use concerns, or major transitions. Whether someone is navigating a difficult season, processing past experiences, feeling overwhelmed, or working toward personal growth, Andrea strives to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they build greater confidence and well-being.
