Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the first step toward seeking support is a courageous and meaningful decision, and I’m honored to be part of your journey. Whether you’re navigating life’s challenges, seeking clarity, or hoping to grow in new ways, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My name is Lina Almounajed. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University. During my graduate studies and internships at two different clinics, I gained valuable experience working with diverse individuals from different walks of life. My experience in counseling is not limited, having worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I find great joy in assisting others in navigating through life's hurdles and firmly believe in the uniqueness of a person’s journey and will tailor treatment plans based on individual needs. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to uncover insights, build resilience, and create meaningful change. My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices to help you move toward your goals. My therapeutic approach is committed towards prioritizing client desires and objectives. Working together, we will develop tools that will help ease your journey towards attaining individual aspirations and an overall sense of wellness.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you. Let’s work together to help you find greater balance, healing, and fulfillment in your life. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your path forward. Feel free to reach out—I’m here to help!
